Ethan Wang is Managing Director of CM Houlder Insurance Broker Limited and previously Deputy General Manager and Financial Controller of the same company. He has been Financial Controller of the China Merchants Insurance Limited and Houlder China Insurance Brokers Limited.
Ethan graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting obtained from Dongbei University of Finance & Economics, China.
Doris Magsaysay Ho is the President and CEO of A. Magsaysay, Inc. which has been involved in shipowning, serving the international markets since 1948.
In the 1980’s the company expanded its shipowning activities to serve the Philippine coastal container and oil trades. The company also offers its customers end-to-end logistics services including trucking and warehousing.
These shipowning activities gave Magsaysay the opportunity to become talent solutions partners of global companies, sourcing and developing people for shipping and cruise companies, and expanding to other industry sectors that require human resources from the Philippines, Indonesia, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Nepal, and other countries.
Magsaysay has invested heavily in education, training, and development of people to ensure the long term sustainability of a robust talent pipeline to support its customers’ needs.

In November, 2015, the Office of the President of the Philippines conferred upon Ms. Ho the Order of Gawad Mabini with the rank of Commander.

Reynaldo A. de Dios is a risk and insurance management consultant and has a 70-year background and experience in the insurance industry.
Starting out in 1948 with Ker & Co. Ltd., a British General Insurance Agency, he later on organized a life insurance company in 1960 and a non-life insurance company in 1966. He pioneered in insurance education in the Philippines and has conducted various risk and insurance seminars in Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines. He has attended more than 100 international conferences on insurance and risk management topics throughout the world. In 1972, he organized the first national insurance conference in Manila. He was the president of five non-life insurance companies and vice president in one life insurance company.
He also introduced the concept of risk management in the Philippines and established his own risk and insurance management consultancy firm in October 1, 1964. He has undertaken risk management consultancy assignments for San Miguel Corporation, Central Bank of the Philippines, PLDT and many industrial, banking and commercial firms.
De Dios is also publisher and editor of Insurance Philippines (magazine) since 1985. He was likewise publisher and editor of Insurance Asia from 1970 to 1990 which was renamed Asia Insurance Review based in Singapore. He is at present the editorial consultant of Asia Insurance Review.
Lastly, he has organized and served as overall coordinator of the annual Philippine General Insurance Summit since 2003.
Marlon is a graduate of Business Management (Ateneo De Davao) and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (Ateneo De Manila). He started his career as a Human Resource Practitioner in 1976. He was also involved for a long period of time in Community Development.
Presently, Marlon is the President and CEO of Magsaysay People Resources Corporation, the umbrella Organization of the Human Resource Group of the Magsaysay Group of Companies, which employs over 45,000 professionals in the industries of Shipping, Cruise, Hospitality, Engineering, Healthcare and Information Technology.
The group he heads is likewise involved in the training and development of professionals through various training facilities such as Magsaysay Institute of Shipping, Magsaysay Training Center and Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts with campuses in the Philippines and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Marlon is also actively involved in the efforts of maritime industry associations to promote the seafaring profession as a career of choice. He was the Past President of the Filipino Association of Mariners Employment (FAME), the largest maritime employment association in the Philippines. He is also the Director of the industry-wide Philippine Joint Maritime Group which is composed of all stakeholders of the Philippine Maritime and Manning Industries and Director of the largest land-based sending organization, Philippine Association of Service Exporters, Inc. (PASEI).

Fernando S. Lopez is the Senior Vice President of A. Magsaysay, Inc., and Group CFO of the Magsaysay Group of Companies. He is also President of Fairex Trading (Asia), Corporation and Magsaysay Houlder Insurance Brokers, Inc., and Treasurer of Magsaysay Maritime Corporation, Magsaysay People Resources, Corporation, Magsaysay MOL Marine, Inc., Magsaysay MOL Ship Management, Inc., Magsaysay Institute of Shipping and various affiliated and subsidiary companies of the Magsaysay Group.
He graduated Bachelor of Business Administration major in Accounting from the University of the East and is a Certified Public Accountant. He finished Strategic Finance from the Asian Institute of Management and took up his MBA course at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
He is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Member of the Board of Trustees of the MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Magsaysay Group of Companies.
Matthew McAfee is a third-generation family business employee. Grandson of Robert C.F. Ho.
Matthew worked and trained on the S&P Desk at the brokerage company Simpson, Spence & Young based in London. In 2007, he joined AMA Capital Partners, a Merchant Bank with focuses on Shipping and Offshore as an Associate, working on various Advisory and Financial Restructurings as well as Mergers and Acquisitions. He worked at AMA for 5 years.
In 2012, Matthew joined The Fairmont-Magsaysay Group.
In 2018, Matthew became President of Fairmont Shipping (HK) Limited and is responsible for the activities of 30 international trading vessels, the group’s Hong Kong properties, and the staff based in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Manila.
Nenette De Jesus is General Manager of Magsaysay Houlder Insurance Brokers, Inc., and a member of the Board of Directors of Fairex Trading (Asia) Corporation and TravelPeople Limited Inc.
She graduated Bachelor of Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Tourism at the University of Santo Tomas. She also finished a Master in Business Administration.
She has been a member of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) since 2013, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors and was a former treasurer of the Association of the Insurance Brokers of the Philippines (AIBP). She was also a past president and is a current member of the Philippine Insurance Club (PIC).
